Bystanders Pummel Purse Snatcher

It's nice to have this sort of help out there:

• Freelance photographer Mike Anzaldi was on his way to lunch in Chinatown on Tuesday when he happened upon a scene of several men holding an alleged purse-snatcher. Chicago police soon arrived and arrested the man, who was later charged with misdemeanor theft and battery.

There's a slide show, too. We can't embed it but here's a link. The offender gets in a few good bites on clothing and a hand before being clocked.

And as noted by a few wags here and at the BreakingNews site, if this had been the police fighting this jagoff, it's be front page news for days, the cops would be at Call Back and the offender would have thirty different bottom feeders knocking at his door looking for a contingency fee.
