- Starting January 18, the price of a Chicago Tribune newspaper at newsstands is going up to $1. That's a 25 cent increase.
The last time the Tribune raised its cover price was two years ago.
The increase does not apply to the Sunday edition or home subscriptions.
The paper's owner, Tribune Company, is in bankruptcy.
Anyone want to bet how far the circulation numbers fall after January?
