A big and heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in Saturday's funeral event.
The Honor Guard was spectacular.
The bands were excellent.
The Officers attending were awe inspiring.
And a special thanks to all our suburban and out-of-state brethren who attended both wake and funeral. We hope the Chicago Police Department was there in your times of trial and will be should the need ever arise.
We only wish that all of the participants weren't so good at their jobs, because it means we've had way too much practice at burying our Officers.
