From a fly on the wall:
- No more promotions this year, including Detectives. Supposedly Peterson flipped his top at hearing this, seeing as how the clearance rate is tanking and the D-unit is allegedly more poorly manned (percentage wise) that the Patrol Division. A proposal is floating around to cancel all detective details to outside task forces, but it's considered a long shot
- Our favorite Elton John fan has made her THIRD appearance at IAD this past week. Brust isn't happy about being middled by Ruthie and is making waves. It seems the answers to certain questions are being "massaged" and even recanted outright. Rule 14 violations?
You can bet that 35th Street is more than happy about today being the announcement for the Olympics. All their problems will be buried in the aftermath of celebrations or mourning.
