  Some dumbass decided that when she found a pipe bomb near her house, she would retrieve it and bring it to the police. This is one of the few times we actually recommend calling the police.

Supposedly, Bomb and Arson detonated the device in the parking lot.

We're wondering why she didn't bring it to the gun turn-in Sunday? J-Fled was pointing out inert hand grenades and speculating they'd get more than the $100 maximum. A live pipe bomb ought to be worth something.
