Almost no media coverage. The Tribune had a series of photographs on their BreakingNews site, but other than that, coverage seemed scanty at best.
There have also appeared in our comment sections a number of denigrating posts about the those wearing yellow ribbons or the perceived lack of yellow ribbons at the march. We don't know what parade they attended, but the yellow ribbons were very much in evidence from where we were. We were told there were only 2,000 Cozzi ribbons printed and we saw a few hundred at least - some worn behind stars, some interwoven with the traditional blue ones, some blowing in the light breeze. The 025th District was overly represented with yellow ribbons - we counted over 100 in the rank and file blue shirts.
All in all, a very respectful and dignified parade. Well done.
