In accordance with the below listed rumor, we thought we'd offer J-Fed a lifeline to actually making lasting change of a good sort, not the bad and evil he's been perpetrating:
- Eliminate the District Manager spots. Too many are unfilled and all are useless. Tell the Desk Sergeant to call the engineer if they need something. Why the extra layer?
- Cap all office staffs at four people.
Yes, we are aware the Commanders have only two spots on paper - the secretary and the assistant secretary. But if you do a quick head count of any District front office, we'll bet the average is about seven bodies. Ticket clerks, CR clerks, statisticians, etc, etc. It's all BS. Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Go-fer and Timekeeper. If it can't be handled by four people, it isn't important enough to worry about and it would create a push to automate things. It would also reduce the amount of nonsense coming out of HQ by eliminating those who just create work to keep spots.
