And It Didn't Stop

Evidently, fifteen wasn't enough:
  • A teen-age boy was shot in the head today in an alley in the Southwest Side's Brighton Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.

The boy, whose exact age was unavailable, was reported in critical condition this evening at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

  • A 20-year-old man was shot this afternoon while standing on a sidewalk in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The victim was shot in the lower back and left ankle before being taken to Stroger Hospital, Chicago police said.

  • Two men were shot this afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood on the Southeast Side.

One of the victims, a 19-year-old man, suffered gunshot wounds to his head, abdomen and arms, Chicago police said. The other victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot in his right shoulder, police said.

And the topper:
  • A person was shot and killed tonight in the Northwest Side's Portage Park neighborhood.

According to preliminary reports, someone walked into a barber shop near Irving Park Road and Central Avenue about 8:20 p.m. and opened fire, officials said.

Someone really needs to talk to J-Failure about this stuff. And Tommy Skilling. The snow can't come soon enough for this weekend.
