The Presidential Election Deployment Award recognizes all Department members, regardless of their duty assignment, for the outstanding police service provided throughout the City during the historic Presidential Rally held in Grant Park on 04 November 2008, an event attended by 240,000 people and resulted in unprecedented national and international attention to the City of Chicago.
Once again, participation trophies for everyone!
