We sense a Connected Company being born right at this very moment in time, and an aldercreature is meeting with a Daley nephew right now!
- Liquor could be sold from pushcarts at the city's two major airports under a measure proposed today by Mayor Richard Daley.
The goal is to bring in more money for the city, said Eve Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for the city Aviation Department.
The plan is to create a new type of liquor license allowing "the sale of alcoholic liquor from pushcarts within authorized areas at O'Hare and Midway," according to the ordinance. The beer and liquor pushcarts would be located beyond the security checkpoints at passenger terminals.
One could hope that this was all an elaborate scheme by the feebs to get a feel for how Chicago politics and rigged bidding work, but it's probably just what Shortshanks calls "another day at the office."
