The headline reads:

And then no where in the story or comments is there any mention that any police officer's name is visible in the graffiti.

So some piss-ant cop hater threw that in just to show how much smarter than the police they are. Wow. Color us impressed.

We're sure someone over the the Trib will call the coders to re-title the story soon. We're not going to link to the story in case it's be tied into some ad revenue that miraculously saves the Trib from extinction. But keep canceling your subscriptions and read for free online. The demise of these jagoffs can't come too early for us.

And we don't quite buy the argument that the article is about a police investigation into the vandalism, hence the first word "cops" in the article. The Trib has hundreds of archived articles where "crime" or "investigation" or other such wording is used to categorize articles. The word "police" doesn't even appear in the article until paragraph seven so there's no reason to title the entire piece as something police related.
