Sneed seems to be picking up on a certain vibe around these parts:

• (25 July) - Sneed got a personal inkling of the animosity Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis has to contend with when I gave Weis a kudo for choosing to take unpaid furlough days like the rest of his exempt staff. Read some:

  "At roughly four times a normal salary, [Weis] has nothing in common with the rank and file. His 12-day refund gesture is a joke. This year I will be paying $11K in private grammar school tuition for my three children."
