• Who thought of the new policy on processing females. Officer who lock up female offenders for city violations or misdemeanor offenses in districts that do not have female lock-ups must sit with the prisoner, until the prints clear. This will put officers down for hours. The department should be trying to get the officers back out to the streets.

They came to a conclusion , since no detectives are to be promoted anytime soon, that all Burglary, Robbery, Thefts, Batteries, etc. will be assigned to the affected beat. We also heard that the Detective Division is on 24/7 lockdown as far as overtime is concerned. No OT for any reason short of a police shooting and even then, gold stars have to be involved.
