Alejandro Valadez Jr. arrived weighing 7.5 pounds. Both mother and son are reported to be doing well.
Officer Valadez died in the Line of Duty 01 June 2009 and never got to meet his son. Alex Jr. will only know his father through photographs, maybe some videos, and through co-workers who maintain the fragile bonds we build over a lifetime.
