Chicago Police are chasing several leads about who was working with the serial armed robber shot dead by police during a robbery Wednesday morning at a gas station in northwest suburban Harwood Heights.
Investigators believe the gunman, who was shot by police who were in the area investigating the robberies, sometimes worked with an accomplice.
The slain suspect was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Ernesto Garcia. He is suspected in more than 30 armed robberies, usually of gas stations and small stores on the Northwest Side and nearby suburbs. He is suspected of at least 19 robberies in April.
Garcia, who has a “Grim Reaper’’ tattoo on his chest, was allegedly armed with a pellet gun during the most recent robbery, police said.

Too Bad, So Sad...NOT!
Hope you're enjoying your stint in stupid-person-hell with the "Grim Reaper" and his cronies sticking red hot pitchforks in your ass. A pellet gun? Thank god the detective removed you from the planet.
