Legitimate Question

  • A 14-year-old Hazel Crest boy shot Friday night in the Morgan Park neighborhood became the 28th Chicago Public Schools student killed this school year.

Witnesses said Gregory Robinson, a freshman at Simeon Career Academy, died shielding two younger children from bullets fired at the car they rode in.

He may have indeed died a hero, protecting others. But a suburban Hazel Crest resident going to a Chicago Public School? Might this be looked at instead of clouding the entire issue as Shortshanks, Jackson and an entire slew of others are beginning to do?
