Where was CeaseFire? Why weren't their "shooting stoppers" out there catching bullets and preaching to the gangsters to put down their weapons and establishing "rules of engagement" to stop this senseless shooting?

• A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition Wednesday night after she was shot in the head on the Far South Side.

  About 8 p.m., the teen was shot in the 11000 block of South Normal Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva. The girl was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, reportedly with a gunshot wound to her head.

But they think they have an effect on conditions?
