Three days since snow and our street is still a sheet of glaze ice. Our Districts are even worse.
We've only seen one snow plow the entire time doing one north/south main street. We assume there must have been another one because the main street running east and west was also clear yesterday.
Other than that? We'll let everyone else judge the efforts of "Snow Command." Even this minimal response is a step up from last year, but then again, there was nowhere to go but up.
Broken water mains spotted? Six. Clogged sewers turning corners into ice jams? Eleven. But it may thaw out over the weekend, so that's OK, right?
